School Council

The School Council is a team whose purpose above all is to serve and promote the interests of our children.

The School Council is presently responsible for:

  • determining the education policy of the school
  • the school budget and the financial plan
  • maintenance and improvement of buildings and grounds
  • reporting and communicating with the school community

The Yellingbo Primary School Council is an elected representative committee of 4 parents, 2 staff members and 1 co-opted member.

The School Council and its subcommittees meet regularly during the school year. Visitors are very welcome at the meetings. We meet in the school Staff Room at 3:45 pm. on the 3rd Monday of the month.
