Our school works actively and co-operatively to provide a safe, happy and rich environment in which the children are challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential.

A sequential educational program is developed through the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).

From 2013 AusVELS (Australian Curriculum) will replace VELS in a staged change-over, beginning with Maths, English, Science and Humanities (History).

Yellingbo Primary School has entered into a formal Sister School agreement with Chang An Hua Yuan Elementary School in Wujiang, China. This relationship has been developed to increase students’ awareness and knowledge of the wider world outside of their immediate environment, and to help develop a degree of Asia Literacy. This is essential for our students to play an active role in the 21st Century world of education and work.
