Welcome to Yellingbo Primary School
Yellingbo Primary School provides a friendly and educationally challenging learning environment. The school, which was established in 1954, is set in 1.5 hectares of picturesque surroundings bordered by the Woori Yallock Creek and Yellingbo State Fauna Reserve, home of the Helmeted Honeyeater (our school emblem) and Leadbeater’s Possum. Both animals are Victorian state emblems.
Our purpose and goal at Yellingbo Primary School is:
“To provide a progressive learning environment that engages students, encouraging them to strive for excellence in a safe atmosphere of mutual respect and co-operation.
Students are supported in their learning by highly skilled, dedicated teachers and support staff. We employ up to date, research proven teaching methodologies, supported by data to provide individualized teaching for all students – no matter what their needs. We know that choosing a school for your child is a big decision, and we are happy to take the time required to reassure you that Yellingbo Primary School is the place to send your child.
